We ordered a beautiful "Very Hungry Caterpillar" cake complete with cupcakes for tara's second birthday party. An threw a big (by our lazy standards) shindig for about a couple of dozen peoplle and kids... it was a melee with happy noisy kids and parents all catching up with each other. Mummy helped tara cut the cake and she wanted to be left alone to eat her cake with a fork (all very independant). Tiernan ate his cupcake very neatly and was seen scolding Nate for making a mess! Tara likes watermelons we discovered. She got lots of lovely gifts... clothes, teddy, stickers and craft stuff. Thanks to everyone who was there (dadu, dida, gramma sheila, al, the neish's, elson's, ellis's, humeniuks and uche; and to grandparents Pul & marj and Godmother Riley who couldnt... even mocha ended up with an orange streak in his fur from all the food colouring in the cake... somebody must have been sneaking him some!
