Mother's Day 2011

On Mother's day Alex built us a planter box....

And we planted some flowers:

Tara helped seed the flax and daisies

and I put in the paper plants, mums and Shasta Daisies.

Paper flowers, they never seem to die.

I got my mother some Gol Gappas for lunch (after a VERY long time) and we also had some cake.

On a typical weekend

We start with a little hokey-pokey in the Sherbrook Pool, follow that up with some lunch and a game of dress-up. Then its off for a retorative nap. Then we gear up for some serious play with water markers and close out the evening with a spot of gardening before retiring back indoors. dinner follows and then umpteen stories are read and finally off to bed at about 9.... or 10 pm....whew!
